O GoMoNews tem uma lista bastante interessante com 34 empresas que trabalham com mobile barcode (códigos 2D).

Eles dividiram as empresas nas seguintes categorias:

A – Provedor de tecnologia aberta (de domínio público ou facilmente licenciável):
B – Provedor de tecnologia proprietária (formato de código e leitores fechados):
C – Empresa que disponibiliza leitor de códigos 2D para usuários;
D – Desenvolvedor de soluções de mercado usando códigos;

Eles levantaram a observação de que a maioria das empresas cai nas categorias A, C e D.

Aqui na Praesto há bastante tempo atrás fizemos uma ação com Semacode, que parecia ser a tecnologia que melhor funcionava com celulares que não tinham uma câmera boa (a maioria deles naquela época). No entanto, de lá pra cá percebemos que o QR Code está se tornando o padrão do mercado. Em termos de mobile marketing, é muito importante que uma tecnologia de fato assuma como padrão (e se espalhe no maior números de aparelhos possível), assim ao criar as ações nos preocuparemos menos em ensinar o usuário a baixar e utilizar os leitores e mais em criar um conteúdo/serviço relevante por trás do código.

Esse link mostra várias ações de QR Code no Brasil que foram registradas pelo Mobilepedia. Houve muita experimentação e mecânicas com algumas falhas, mas em geral as campanhas estão melhorando bastante.

Aliás, para o QR-Code, geralmente recomendamos como leitores o i-Nigma ou o Kaywa para celulares com Java, e o BeeTagg para iPhone (os Nokia S60 mais novos – ex. N95 – já vêm com um leitor excelente instalado de fábrica).
